Terms of Use

Last updated: October 15, 2026

By using https://gear-check.crushjs.com (the "Site") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the tests

The hardware tests on this Site are provided free of charge for personal and business use. You agree not to use them for any unlawful purpose, or to attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Site.

Results are a guide, not a diagnosis

Test results depend on your browser, operating system, drivers and settings as well as on the device itself. For example, browsers may limit the refresh rate, resolution or number of keys they report. Results are provided to help you troubleshoot and are not a certified measurement or a manufacturer's diagnosis. Do not rely on them alone for warranty, purchase or safety decisions.

Flashing images and loud sounds

The stuck-pixel fixer and some screen tests show rapidly flashing colors, and the speaker test can play loud tones. Do not use the flashing tests if you have photosensitive epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing light, and start sound tests at a low volume, especially with headphones.

Trademarks

Product names such as PlayStation, DualSense, DualShock, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, AirPods and Mac are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility. The Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GearCheck will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Site.

Advertising and third-party links

The Site displays advertising and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of advertisers or linked sites. See our Privacy Policy for information about advertising cookies.

Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
